Touch Foam
At the core of these products is a revolutionary coated Touch Foam which is completely weather and water resistant, UV colour stable and flame retardant. Impervious to the weather, the range guarantees flexibility and a comfortable seat for everyone in any outdoor room with minimal maintenance. Available from stock in either Black or Sand colours and White only for the Evolution range, with a further 21 colour choices via special order, the options when creating your own outdoor oasis are limitless.
Elements Deep Seating.
Every care is taken in the manufacture of the Elements Touchfoam deep seating products, and as a modular design, we pay particular attention to the outer lines and angles of the product. However, due to the manufacturing process, there may be slight differences in how each piece lines up when placed next to each other, but these differences are minimal and do not detract from the overall appearance of your selected Elements furniture.
Roto Design
This range is manufactured using a hardwearing polyethylene HD material, which has been roto-moulded to form strong, stunning and unique furniture designs. This material is fully recyclable, UV resistant and can withstand temperatures from -20C to +60C.
Woven
Ecolene is an environmentally friendly polyethylene synthetic wicker, which has been developed to meet all standard specifications for outdoor furniture. Ecolene is durable, insensitive to temperature differences, free from cracking and corrosion yet still retains a natural look and feel.
Twitchell/Textilene
These man made all-weather materials are exclusively designed for comfort, durability and practicality. Like Ecolene, the very nature of these fabrics mean that Westminster Twitchell and Textilene products are lightweight, extremely comfortable and being impervious to the weather, can be left outside all year round requiring little or no maintenance.
Stainless Steel
Westminster use only all-weather high performance brushed stainless steel which is selected for its incredible strength and durability which allows us to produce stunning contemporary furniture designs.
Stainless steel has a deserved reputation for longevity of structure and appearance, though like all materials, stainless steel may show some signs of staining or discolouration over time. This discolouration is commonly referred to as tea staining and is purely cosmetic, in no way affecting the structure or serviceable life of the product.
As with all outdoor furniture, some cleaning is necessary in order to combat the rigours of the environment and stainless steel is no different.
We recommend cleaning the stainless steel with Westminster stainless steel cleaner if tea staining manifests itself, which is a quick and simple process. It must be stressed that if the furniture is sited in a marine environment, cleaning may be necessary more regularly due to wind and salt exposure.
Teak
Westminster use the finest available grade TFT plantation grown teak which is hand finished by craftsmen. Their skills and practical understanding of this material are reflected in the overall design and quality of the finished product. Manufactured to stringent quality control guidelines, our teak products are constructed using traditional dowelled mortice and tennon joinery with solid brass or stainless steel fittings and fixings. Naturally rich in oleoresin, teak is highly resistant to warping and rotting and will last for many years without any special treatment.
Woven Furniture Cushions
Manufactured using optimum performance Reflex foam which consistently retains its shape. The twin piped box design fabric casing is made from 100% Olefin which comes with a five year guarantee against fading. Covers are fully removable for hand washing at 30 degrees. This fabric can be left outside in a small shower which can then be left to dry in the sun. These cushions should not be stored in damp conditions.
Teak Furniture Cushions
Manufactured using 100% Olefin which comes with a five year guarantee against fading. Covers are fully removable for hand washing at 30 degrees. To prevent marking on cushions ensure that furniture is clean and dust free before use. These cushions should not be stored in damp conditions.
Parasols
SOLARIS
Constructed using a brushed stainless steel 48mm pole and aluminium arms the Gemini parasols are visually striking, extremely strong. Designed to accompany our stainless steel and woven collections, these parasols feature a pulley system, and are available in three colourways, natural, black, and taupe. The fabrics are made from hardwearing spunpoly fibre which is treated with a water resistant fabric protector and can be hand washed at 30Deg C. An all weather PVC cover bag is also included.
SUNLIFE
Constructed using a 100mm brushed Stainless Steel tube, and incorporating a telescopic crank system. The fabric is made from hardwearing spunpoly fibre, and is treated with a water resistant fabric protector, these large heavy duty parasols are only available with Natural colour canopies, and are ideal for commercial use. Also available for the Sunlife parasol are, the in ground base tube, for permanent placement, or the base tray with wheels and concrete blocks, for more manuverability.
BASE STAND
The Westminster base stand is designed for use with all tables and parasols,and is heavy enough to be used free-standing. Base is of a cast iron construction and finished with a black UV resistant powder coating with the tube constructed from stainless steel. Please note: We strongly recommend the use of a base stand with all Westminster parasols. All parasols should be closed during high winds. All Westminster teak tables are supplied with either a solid brass or chrome bung and reducer ring.
